The process of fusing interlining to garments began in Europe in about 1950.
This process was begun in Japan in about 1960.Today about 80 ai of all garments require the use of interlining. Previously garments requiring tailored finishes could only be made by highly skilled professionals ,but now.with the use of fusing prosses,anyone can produce such garments,Using the fusing process,a good shape can be cheaply produced and will remain in shape for long periods of time. These days everyone in the apparel industry relies on the fusing process in everyday production.
Although the fusing process is easy.care must be taken in choosing the right Interlining to match the material being used,Read Carefully the technical information from the interlining manufacturer ,and be sure the requirements correspond to the garment material and use a high quality press or else a good quality finish can not be guaranteed.
